Documentary and Documentation: the Preservation of Memories Through the Multiplicity of Records

Abstract

The article retrieves historical episodes to show the importance of documentation and documentary for the preservation of memories. In Brazil, the research highlights the records made during the Rondon Commission, both for the documentation of Roquette-Pinto and for the documentary production of Luiz Thomas Reis. The study also uses the beginnings of the documentary to show the multiplicity of records through transmedia narrative. The study is supported by Jordan, Renó and Jenkins and points out the relevance of documentation for research, registration and documentary. The objective is to analyze that through the registration it is possible to create documents and preserve memories.
