JOURNALISM AND PODCAST: an analysis of the Café da Manhã, Estadão Notícias and Resumão

The purpose of this article is to identify the characteristics that make up the construction of journalistic content in podcasts. For this, the programs O Estadão Notícias, Café da Manhã and Resumão were studied through a content analysis based on Bardin (1977) and interviews with filmmakers. From this, the analysis of ten episodes of each program between the period from August 3rd to October 9th, 2020 is carried out, under the perspective of three axes: 1) Content; 2) Structure; and 3) Gender. With the results obtained, it was possible to conclude that the news content in podcasts consists of informative and opinionated genres in their productions, interviews with political themes in greater frequency, informal language and broad sound elements.
