THE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGIES ON JOURNALISM IN THE VOICE OF JOURNALISTS FROM GOIÂNIA

Abstract

This article's theme is the evolution of technologies and journalism with the aim of verifying the impacts of information and communication technologies in the journalistic area from the perspective of journalists from Goiás, highlighting the voice of these professionals on the challenges faced in news production in the face of technological advances and presenting their perspectives/expectations regarding the journalistic field, taking into account the transformations observed in journalistic practice resulting from technological evolution. To this end, the methodological path was carried out through bibliographical research based on authors who are dedicated to the discussion and reflection of the proposed theme, as well as through the application of a questionnaire with journalists from Goiás, seeking their perception of the impacts of technological advances on the journalistic field.

Author Biography

Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa Temer, Universidade Federal de Goiás

Graduated in Social Communication - qualification in Journalism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1980), master's degree in Social Communication from the Methodist University of São Paulo (1998) and doctorate in Social Communication from the Methodist University of São Paulo (2001).Post Doctorate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Federal University of Pernambuco. She is currently a Visiting Professor at the Federal University of Goiás and PhD Advisor. He has experience in the area of ​​Communication, with an emphasis on Journalism and Publishing, working mainly on the following topics: communication, citizenship, journalism, television journalism and genres.
