The article is devoted to the work of Suleyman Valiyev, one of the prominent representatives of XX century Azerbaijani literature. The article notes that the images created by the writer are distinguished by their vitality, emotional and psychological sensitivity. The article analyzes the peculiarities of humanistic ideas that are reflected in the work of Suleyman Valiyev, and presents a system of positive and negative images, which are analyzed in the philological aspect. The image of a struggling human being that is the leitmotif of a prominent writer's works is characterized by special professionalism and clarified the main characteristic of its core.
