Abstract

The work of Heraldo Lins is a significant example of the interference of the cultural industry in the activity of artists of Teatro de Bonecos Popular in Rio Grande do Norte. His theater presents several of the contemporary transformations that the genre has undergone. From the concept of cultural hybridization (CANCLINI, 2013), this case presents a brief trajectory of the puppeteer and describes and analyzes his work.
