FROM THE STREET TO POETRY:

a dive into the scene of the group O Buraco d’Oráculo

Abstract

This article analyzes the creative process of a scene from Pelas ordens do rei que pede socorro. The street theater group O Buraco d’Oráculo brings together various disciplines to establish a powerful connection between music, poetry, cinema, and theater while addressing social and political issues. This study proves important not only for understanding how (and what) the actors communicate on stage but also for questioning with whom and for whom they are communicating.
