CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE DIFFERENT LANGUAGES TO THE TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY IN THE BASIC SCHOOL

The present article proposes a reflection about the school Geography, with the perspective of fomenting some possibilities of dynamization of its teaching, from the use of the different geographic languages. In order to reach these objectives, in addition to a brief discussion about the importance of the heap of languages available for such teaching, we report some experiments developed from the Subprojeto de Geografia/PIBID, of the Universidade Estadual da Paraíba, developed based on Project Pedagogy, seeking to facilitate geographic learning and to minimize the problems of attention deficit detected in the participating classes, some of them characterized by great dispersion and hyperactivity of a significant part of the students. In general, it can be stated that the results of the use of the languages in the teaching of Geography have been satisfactory, depending on the characteristics of each class and associated to the domain of the content and creativity of the PIBID scholarship students. It should be emphasized that the intention in space is not to propose a reproduction of recipes not teaching from the languages, it is blessed possibilities in the search for improvements in the teaching and learning process in Geography.Downloads
