CARTOGRAFIA DO IMAGINÁRIO: (RE)DESCOBRINDO O PATRIMÔNIO REGINA – LONDRINA, PR

Abstract

The present article seeks to point, through a cartography of the imaginary, the relation between a group of students and Patrimônio Regina, located in the city of Londrina – PR. The goal is to develop a personal and intimate cartography, which can show the various senses of one spatiality. In this sense, the work was developed by using cartography fulfilled with meanings, but that maintains the scientific strictness e expresses reality and subjectivity for those who experience it. As methodology, writing workshops were conducted during Geography and Portuguese classes, where the students were instigated to reflect upon and express their relation with belonging, joy, fear, insecurity, among others, towards the site of Patrimônio Regina. With the results, it was noticed the existence of many sites related to collective appreciation or displeasure, which, through cartography, were possible to be indicated in the final map. In the end, the work shows that it was possible to highlight the importance of each students view about the space, searching to value experiences and feelings, so that this path enriches teaching work with the construction of critic knowledge, through reading geographic elements and through social valuing.
