Informação ambiental, sustentabilidade e Agenda 2030 em periódicos de Ciência da Informação: análise bibliométrica

This article discusses the concepts of Sustainability, Environmental Information and Agenda 2030 with a focus on Information Science. It intends to contribute to the visibility of the cited themes and to survey the scientific production that addresses them in electronic journals of Information Science. It is characterized as exploratory and quantitative, since bibliometrics was applied to the retrieved data. The results show that the term "Agenda 2030" has been used frequently in most of the research analyzed, the institution with the highest number of participating authors was the Universidade Estadual Paulista, and the concentration of publications on the themes was in the years 2017 and 2021, with the journals ACB: Biblioteconomia em Santa Catarina and the Revista Brasileira de Biblioteconomia e Documentação. It is concluded that bibliometry helps in the measurement of external evaluation procedures and the scientific production on Sustainability, Environmental Information and Agenda 2030 had a large number of publications in the years 2017 and 2021, consolidating itself as a relevant subject for the Information Science literature.
