Exploring frontiers: the scientific universe of environmental, social and corporate governance and knowledge management from a bibliometric perspective

Publicações científicas relacionadas aos princípios do Environmental, Social & Governance, tem despertado a atenção não somente da literatura, mas sobretudo dos setores público e privado. Neste contexto, destaca-se a importância da Gestão do Conhecimento, que auxilia as organizações a se prepararem para os novos desafios do século XXI. A pesquisa tem por objetivo geral efetuar um estudo bibliométrico acerca das publicações sobre Environmental, Social & Governance e Gestão do Conhecimento, depositadas nos repositórios da Scopus e Web of Science entre os anos de 2001 e 2023, perfazendo 364 registros. A pesquisa é pioneira ao combinar uma análise bibliométrica com estas temáticas, destacando-se como uma contribuição valiosa para a literatura e prática organizacional. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa utiliza uma abordagem bibliométrica, analisando publicações científicas indexadas nas bases Scopus e Web of Science para identificar tendências, autores, países e palavras-chave relevantes. Os resultados indicam um crescimento anual de 20,63% nas publicações sobre Environmental, Social & Governance e Gestão do Conhecimento, com destaque para China, Itália e Espanha, e o journal Sustainability como principal fonte de publicações. Verificou-se que este tema está em expansão e cresce ao ritmo de 20,63% ao ano e que o número médio de citações para os artigos da amostra é de 24,79. Recomenda para trabalhos futuros a realização de uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura sobre o tema proposto, assim será possível analisar metodologicamente os resultados de cada um dos artigos da amostra selecionada com maior grau de profundidade.
