Ambidestria digital e inovação em modelos de negócios: estudo de caso em uma instituição financeira brasileira
Resumo
A pesquisa identifica os facilitadores e inibidores da transformação digital em um banco tradicional e analisa seus efeitos sobre a inovação em modelos de negócios, sob a perspectiva da ambidestria digital. O estudo adota uma abordagem qualitativa e exploratória, estruturada como estudo de caso, e realizou entrevistas semiestruturadas com 17 gestores vinculados a oito vice-presidências e à área de aceleração digital. A análise de conteúdo examinou as respostas de forma temática e transversal. Os resultados mostram a coexistência das configurações harmônica e particional de ambidestria. O foco nas necessidades dos usuários, a atuação da liderança, as demandas regulatórias e a disponibilidade de recursos favoreceram a transformação digital, enquanto a cultura organizacional, a resistência à mudança e os conflitos na alocação de recursos constituíram os principais obstáculos. A ambidestria digital também influenciou a proposta de valor, os canais, as parcerias estratégicas e a sustentabilidade do modelo de negócios. O estudo conclui que a transformação digital da instituição depende da articulação entre liderança, cultura, recursos e mecanismos de governança capazes de conciliar eficiência operacional e inovação. Por se concentrar em uma única instituição e no nível gerencial, a pesquisa representa a perspectiva estratégica do caso analisado.
