ANALYSIS OF THE MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION DEVELOPED IN INTEGRATED OPERATIONS CENTER PUBLIC SAFETY - CIOSP-RN

Abstract

Investigates what are the procedures used in the Information Management on Center for Integrated Operations Public Safety (CIOSP) of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). Has as goal identifying the stages of production, direction and organization of information of CIOSP / RN and see how it performed the Electronic Management of Documents. In the methodological approach was made use of literature search, case studies and participant observation. The results show that the CIOSP / RN utilizes the management of information only to record events occurred on the perimeter of constituency service, and that this information is targeted and stored in a database specific, so there is a need for a information policy which includes the Management of Electronic Documents in order to avoid the accumulation of documents without probative value or historical. Finally, there is a need for a multidisciplinary team qualified to manage the information produced by CIOSP / RN, in order to facilitate the user's life, but also the population in order to contribute to reduced rates of crime, enabling thus promoting social policy with quality of life.
