Abstract

From the 1990s onwards, radio started to use digital support and, with this, to present content through the graphical interface, in which, in the webradio format, the sound, visual and verbal elements produced by the transmitter are organized, which provoked some changes in relation to consumption (such as new ways of reading performed by the receiver) and content production (such as the use of transmedia storytelling on different platforms). The goal of this article is to observe the importance of the graphic interface in radio journalism and the actions and phenomena resulting from its application in real-time sound communication. The need for this type of investigation is justified to understand the importance of the graphic interface in the investigation of radio journalism in digital support and to help with daily production practices in the radio market.
