Resumen

This work seeks to quantify differences in productive and discriminatory attributes to the Northeast and Southeast regions of Brazil from their different socioeconomic levels. A new measure of human capital is proposed from the inclusion of variable length of stay in the same job. The period under review is particularly important in view of the economic and social transformations taking place is unprecedented according to data from household surveys. Three proxies measures for the variable experience are also already used that current databases do not compute a specific question for the variable. The results suggest that in Brazil in addition to shoulder a greater scarcity of resources resulting from economic formation with unequal opportunities there is a price associated with color.
