QUALIFICACÃO PROFISSIONAL E REINSERÇÃO NO MERCADO DE TRABALHO DOS EX-BANCÁRIOS

Resumo

From the employers standpoinr, the qualification is the determinam factor in the conquest of a job position. However, this view is not fully shared among a grawing body of sociologists and ther social science academics. For them, the relation berween the qualificarion and markerplace is nor that straight forward. It is also dependent of other contexrual factors, which deserves further analysis. This study presents reflecrions on qualificarion, as an asser to successfully get no the job marker, from a Former Public Employee perspective. This research focuses on the specific population of former public bank ernployees, who adhered to "Voluntary Resignation Program". Theses programs are implemented to minimize the tensions inherent to organization downsizing process, by providing economical benefirs in trade of resignation of the stable public. The local economical scenario during adherence to "Voluntary Resignation Program" was clearly recessive, withour any new job positions being creared.
