Abstract

This article reflects about the challenges of self-manegment in solidarity economy enterprises, considering intersectional of race, gender and class inequalities. Therefore, will be analyzed especially the enterprises incubated by the Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperatives, of the University of Campinas (ITCP / Unicamp [Initials in Portuguese]), during the period from 2018 to 2020. To qualify the reflection and analysis, this article contextualizes the emergence of ITCPs as an extension practice during the advancement of the neo-liberal policies during the 1980s and 1990s, especially Fernando Henrique Cardoso government. Also, when considering the living experience of the aforementioned enterprises, an intersectional approach to inequalities is proposed within the scope of the Solidarity Economy. Finally, it is argued that, despite being an axis of resistance to the advance of neoliberal capitalism, it is not free from contradictions, which underpins labor relations conventionally, issues that challenge the solid structuring of its guidelines, highlighting the self-management.
