Trajetos da Negociação Coletiva Trabalhista: Sindicatos dos Metalúrgicos e dos Bancários do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

O artigo enfoca as opções e iniciativas do movimento sindical dos trabalhadores e o comportamento da Justiça do Trabalho, sempre em relação aos processos de negociação coletiva entre patrões e empregados. Procuramos demonstrar os limites e possibilidades que a ativação da justiça pelos trabalhadores introduz nos processos de negociação e confronto entre os atores do capital e do trabalho, tendo por base pesquisas sobre as mobilizações dos sindicatos dos metalúrgicos e dos bancários do Rio de Janeiro nos anos 2000, bem como documentos da Justiça do Trabalho e do DIEESE. Abstract The paper focuses on the initiatives of the union movement of workers and the behavior of the Labor Courts, always in relation to collective bargaining between employers and employees. We demonstrate the limits and possibilities that activation of justice by the workers introduces during the processes of negotiation and confrontation between the actors of capital and labor, based on research about the mobilization of banks and metal industry workers’ unions from Rio de Janeiro in the 2000s, well as documents of the Labor Courts and DIEESE.
