ACORDOS MARCO GLOBAIS EM SUBSIDIÁRIAS:
o uso de regulações internacionais por parte dos trabalhadores da Volkswagen do Brasil
Abstract
This research examines the adoption of the Global Framework Agreement at Volkswagen, titled Charter On Labour Relations, focusing on four unions in the Brazilian automotive sector. Theoretically, the perspective of historical institutionalism regarding the Varieties of Capitalism is adopted. From a methodological standpoint, the study is based on semi-structured interviews and the analysis of union and corporate documents. The findings reveal the Brazilian workers' concerns regarding the agreement's applicability. The conclusions highlight that the hierarchical corporate governance structure in Brazil negatively influences the workers' perception of the document, leading them to reject the co-management principle proposed in the agreement and to adapt it to the national context.
