Right to culture and development: the social participation on cultural patrimony in the Brazilian state

Abstract

Through public policies to health, education and public security the Culture, in particular case the management of the cultural patrimony, works as a potential important tool to promote an economic and social development in Brazil. Along the way the participation of society, in relation with cultural management, is a current issue in the academics debate. Subjects like right to culture, right to the human development, and cultural policies obtain special relief.
