SINGULAR THERAPEUTIC PROJECT AS A PRACTICE STRATEGY FOR MULTIPROFESSIONALISM IN HEALTH ACTIONS
Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to discuss the Singular Therapeutic Project (STP) in the context of multiprofessionality, emphasizing the importance of adopting this strategy as a practice tool to be incorporated into the routine of health care services of the Brazilian Health System. Material and Methods: This is a literature review based on scientific papers retrieved by means of a meta-analysis from the databases SciELO and Bireme (Medline and LILACs sources). The content analysis resulted from the perspective of three thematic axes: concepts and methodological approaches for the construction of the STP; STP in the context of multiprofessionality; and limitations for the practical application of STP to health actions. Results: In general, the findings showed that the concepts on the STP are homogenous; and authors have similar opinion on the employment of the STP as a practical strategy for the multiprofessionality in health actions. Conclusion: The construction of the singular therapeutic project transforms care practices and also strengthens the role of the multiprofessional team, as it allows an exchange of knowledge and promotion of a comprehensive care targeting people’s needs in their social background.
