Abstract

SUMMARY Scientific research is a process split into three main stages: planning, carrying out and releasing. It´s planning generates a document aimed at guiding a researcher through the whole research process and many times it is used to pursue financing for the job. This document is a Research Project which must be strictly planned and designed so that the researcher may use it as a schedule to be followed. It is normal to require a research project as one of the steps for a graduation selection process or to apply for research financing. It must include some essential components which will be detailed in this paper, since it is extremely important to learn about each one of them. To understand their development from the original idea and going through their individual problems and assumptions until the document is designed, including all the information.
