Anthropological Observatory in times of pandemic: harvesting flowers "collected with great struggle” between the roads that cross the Federal University of Paraíba

Abstract

Covid-19's impacts are evident in the most different spheres of society,
albeit unevenly. Beyond the scientific race in the search for a cure for
disease and by ways of minimizing its effects, impose challenges for coping with
affections and everyday difficulties. Thus, this narrative aims to share
reflections on the call for reinvention, so common in pandemic times,
focusing on the experience of participating in the University Extension project
“Anthropological Observatory: mapping and strengthening actions to combat
Covid-19 ”, linked to the Federal University of Paraíba. Part of a look from a
sanitarian, recently entered the doctoral course in Social Anthropology of the Program
Graduate Program in Anthropology at the same institution in its meeting with the
opportunity to participate in this collective, community and solidarity initiative,
reinvention and academic resistance to the challenges posed by the pandemic.
