Abstract

ABSTRACT:
For years I spent time in the south of Amazonas with the Tenharin of the Marmelos River, a Tupi-Kagwahiva people, to talk about social organization and kinship. I supported this people in their struggle for land regularization and was the anthropologist responsible for identifying several Indigenous lands in the region. During
my recurrent permanence in the field, I collaborated effectively with the elders of
the group, recording narratives, songs and taking photographs. In recent times, I decided to digitize the entire collection to return it to the Tenharin, presenting it on a webpage as a virtual museum and a book of memories about Kwahã and the land regularization processes in the region. Besides affecting my relationship with the community, the proposal has opened up fundamental questions related to writing
and conceiving an anthropology that is composed with the others and not one that
simply talks about them.
