Abstract

This work is a product of the graduation course in Librarianship carried on the Universidade Federal do Ceará. The research studies the relationships and the Internet`s interaction tools as well as the changes in the Communication, taking in consideration the information society context. We have observed in this context transformations in the following fields: social, political and economical and with possibility of larger production, dissemination and access to information, due to strong presence of the New Technologies of Information and Communication - NTIC. Such fact, also made possible an interaction increase, through Internet, especially with its interaction tools in the virtual space, as the e-mails, chats, discussion groups, friends` nets, blogs, fotologs, messenger, visit books, special portals. Through them users have been building new types of social relationships, where besides interacting with each other, it is possible to try living other identities. Likewise, as these bring positive changes in the people's communication, they are also used by the capitalist system to reinforce the social and economical inequalities. Noticing the plurality of that space and the use of these interaction tools it is looked for to bring contributions on this subject.
