Análise da produção dos artigos científicos sobre biblioteca escolar na base de dados BRAPCI

The objective of this study was to analyze the scientific production of scientific articles on school library, through articles indexed in BRAPCI. This is a descriptive study was used quantitative and qualitative method, also called mixed method, using bibliometric techniques. The research universe brings together scientific articles indexed in BRAPCI scientific journals, covering the entire period of coverage from 1972 to 2019. The results revealed that in the 47 years, 130 articles were identified in 27 Brazilian journals indexed in BRAPCI. The most productive years were 2017 and 2018 with 15 publications each. One notices a small number of authors who have published many articles and a large number of authors have produced little, that is, an article. Two authors and one more productive author on the theme were identified. Being the first, from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) the second from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and the last author of the State University of Londrina (UEL). The most discussed subjects were: School library with 116 times (25.2%), reading with 19 times (4.1%), librarian 16 times (3.4%), education with nine times (1.9%), school librarian with seven times (1.5%) and public policy with six times (1.3%). It is concluded that athematic school library is old in Brazil, but it is not much researched by scientists as to the relevant problems to be studied to help professionals working in schools libraries with adequate skills for this type of information unit.Downloads
