uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

Facebook can be a great ally to health libraries. Besides its basic resources, Facebook has different functions that join services and applications with the objective of producing knowledge, disseminating information, publicizing products and services, and more closely and effectively interacting with its users in a virtual environment. Considering the importance of expanding studies in the area, with the goal of identifying Facebook use related to the context of Brazilian and foreign health libraries, an integrative review of the literature was made. Research was performed between July 2020 and June 2021. New articles were selected for analysis. A synthesis of the results shown in the articles indicates that Facebook can be a tool to promote health services libraries and communication with its users. Health libraries and information centers can be promoted, used and be well considered by those who seek their services in order to improve the quality of service provided to users in the health area.
