TOOLS FOR EVALUATION IN ARCHIVES, LIBRARIES AND MUSEUMS

Conducts a study on evaluation in archives, libraries and museums, pointing out the particularities of this activity and its different methodologies in view of the typological context of the institutions. Its objective is to identify how the evaluation is carried out in libraries, archives and museums, presenting the methodologies and instruments used to carry out the activity, seeking to highlight the importance of its realization. Regarding the objectives, it is characterized as an exploratory research. In relation to the data collection procedures, this is a bibliographic and documentary research. 21 different tools and methodologies were identified to carry out the evaluation in archives, libraries and museums, with comparative tables presenting the differences and similarities between them, and indicating where and how they are applied. The evaluation is carried out in different ways, according to the methodology used and the typology of the information unit, and it can be used and adapted to the context of each institution.
