Abstract

This article aims to highlight the concept of sociogeny exposed by Silvia Wynter from the reading of Black skin, white masks, by Frantz Fanon. For this, we go through the process of dehumanization perpetrated against black people from colonization and enslavement. We will approach the double alienation that occurred in the relationship between black and white people, because, on the one hand, we have the neuroses developed by black people due to contact with the "white world" and, on the other hand, we have the white subject positioning himself as a model of being human. We will highlight the human influence on these changes and the need for analyzes that consider social determinations. Finally, we will indicate the role of narratives in the reformulation of the world.
