Abstract

Introduction: The SISPACTO indicators are important sources of information for monitoring and assessing primary care. The Individual Pecuniary Advantage (IPA) has been implemented in the city of João Pessoa, which is characterized by a financial incentive additional to the salary of primary care workers. It is provided based on the goals established by the family health teams, which are in accordance with the SISPACTO. Objective: This article aims to describe an experience in the Sanitary District I in the Department of Health of João Pessoa, PB, in the period between 2011 and 2012. The experience was about monitoring primary care taking into account the IPA agreement. Materials and Method: The analysis of this experience is the result of reflections raised in the Graduate Program in Care Policy and Management with emphasis on Matrix Support offered by the Department of Health in partnership with the Federal University of Paraíba, in 2012. In this formative process the author of this study with the support of her advisor, tried to analyze his experience as a technical director of that district in monitoring the health indicators covered by the IPA. Results and conclusion: As a result, we present the structure of the work routine of municipal matrix supporters, district manager and family health teams, pointing out their strengths and challenges. With this, we intend to offer a way to monitor and assess primary care based on health indicators, with a view to qualifying labor management and care in this sector. Possui graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1998), graduação em Bacharelado em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1998), mestrado em Serviço Social pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2001) e doutorado em Saúde Pública pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2006). Atualmente é professora adjunto3 da Universidade Federal da Paraíba, membro do Núcleo de Estudos em Saúde Coletiva da Paraíba e membro da Rede ABRAPSO Paraíba. Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia Social e da Saúde, atuando principalmente com os seguintes temas: atenção básica, gestão do cuidado, políticas públicas, direitos sexuais e reprodutivos e gênero.
