FAMILY HEALTH PROGRAM: INCLUSION OF USERS IN THE CHOICE OF SERVICES OFFERED
Abstract
Introduction: Law 8142 of 28 December 1990 which provides for community participation in the management of the Unified Health System legitimated popular participation in decisions being taken in this sector, but the population still does not feel participating in this process. Method: A type of exploratory-descriptive, with a qualitative approach, in which the production of the empirical material was made possible by the use of the semi-structured and establishment of the social position of the interviewees through the use of Technical Analysis of Speech. Objective: To identify the contradictions in the process of choice of health programs offered at the Family Health Units. Conclusion: The process of assembly of health programs that make up the family health units has not yet community participation which interferes with the health care needs of the population.Downloads
