REVISITING THE FORMATION OF HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH IN BRAZIL
Abstract
INTRODUCTION: We present a bibliographical research about the training of human resources for health in Brazil, with buy back the shares of social movements and joint political institutions in this context. METHODS: The study is limited by the National Conference on Health and the Conference on Training of Health Personnel occurred in Brazil, from 1941 until 2000. CONCLUSION: We conclude that social movements and political institutions have a decisive role in the course of the process of training human resources for health in Brazil and aims at recognition of universities as a key element in this process.
