A hegemonia do dólar no sistema monetário e os desafios do renminbi em se tornar uma moeda internacional
Abstract
Neste trabalho objetiva-se discorrer sobre a hegemonia contemporânea dos Estados Unidos no sistema monetário-financeiro internacional e analisar os debates internacionais pós-crise de 2008 que perpassaram pela diminuição da preponderância do dólar globalmente. Dada à ascensão da China na economia internacional vigente, busca-se, em especial, ressaltar as tentativas graduais e planejadas das políticas chinesas em reduzir sua dependência à moeda americana no regime monetário-financeiro global.
