A marcha do retorno Palestina na cobertura fotojornalística da Folha de São Paulo

The Great March of Return began in march 2018 and soon changed into a cycle of violence between Israelis and Palestinians, with reflexes until 2019. The marches led by Palestinians and strongly repressed by Israel, received wide coverage by the Folha de São Paulo newspaper, usually adept of international news agency materials. We investigated - quantitatively and qualitatively – the narrative used by Folha and how visual images influence the representations of the actors involved in the event. We found that these agencies dominate the information content, in such a way the discourse and representations adopted reflects the interests of countries where the news agencies have head offices.
