‘‘Tracking persecutors’’:
O abuso do uso da informação por meio da Inteligência Artificial (IA) e os seus impactos nas relações internacionais
Abstract
Artificial intelligence has become a mechanism increasingly present in our lives. Consequently, it has also become part of the discussions in international relations. This article aims to understand the political implication of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods in democratic regimes. This analysis will be done with the Cambridge Analytica (CA) episode, in a case study format, which was a significant example of technological interference in the election period. Therefore, this paper will present concepts such as AI and democracy, two key terms for accomplishing the goals of this research. Finally, there will be an explanation of other important concepts such as big data, machine learning and algorithms.
