A ultradireita e a islamofobia
Europeus patriotas contra a islamização do Ocidente (PEGIDA)

O presente artigo busca abordar como a islamofobia foi uma ferramenta utilizada por partidos e grupos europeus da Ultradireita, em especial o PEGIDA, como uma mola propulsora da aceitação das pautas xenofóbicas e da ideologia da dessa vertente política, de forma a fazer com que estas tenham sido normalizadas em grande parte dos discursos do mainstream da política migratória europeia. Além disso, é analisado, também, como os partidos de Ultradireita se beneficiam da islamofobia para as eleições e como o mundo o mulçumano passou a ser alvo da xenofobia europeia.
