ABSTRACT: The article aims to analyze the impacts of the far-right in Argentina, with a focus on the emerging political figure of Javier Milei during the pre-election period of 2023. The violent coups of the 20th century are replaced by reactionary populism in the 21st century, where mass radicalization becomes the main weapon. This study employs a qualitative approach, including literature review and case study, to investigate how the far-right represented by Milei drives radicalization in Argentina. The results indicate how Javier Milei, a reactionary populist leader, fits within the spectrum of the far-right, with the possibility of becoming an extremist right-wing figure if elected.
