Abstract

The article deals with the recent changes in the

world of work and their relations with the emergence of the New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT). It is remarked that these transformations must be understood in a specific social and economic context that requires to investigate the political economy  of their introduction and development. On this track, the article points to the paradoxical situation where the money of workers is used in a way that hurts the very workers and their legal representatives. Finally, the article suggests the fallacy of the adoption of Social Balances and Ethical Funds as forms of mitigating the trouble caused by that central paradox.
