Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The author (s) must send 02 (two) files, named as follows: 01) Identification: (containing the title of the work and the full name of ALL authors; 02) Article (without any identification, containing only the article (title, abstract, keywords, abstract, key-words, and all sections of the article itself (for example, Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and Bibliographic References). Obviously, each article may differ in terms of sections from those described here. More importantly, is the submitted document display a logical sense, providing to the reader clear, objective information and appropriate written skills about scientific discourse.
  • Abstract containing 250 words in the most

Author Guidelines

Norms to be used in the articles: (NBRs 6022, 6023, 6024, 6026,6028, 10520, 10525 IBGE tabular standard); Rules for submission of texts (emphasize the need for original articles)

 

The submission must contain two files: one with the author's identification data and another with the work.
The first file will contain the following identification data:
• job title;
• full name of the author(s);
• address;
• telephone;
• email;
• institution to which you are linked / type of link;
• higher titration;
• Thematic Area for which you are submitting the work;
• proposal modality: The available sections will appear during the submission process
• The file with the identification data must be named with the name of the author or authors, followed by the word “Identification”.
• The second file with the work must be named with the title of the work and cannot contain the name of the author(s).

1. Submission in the Concert-Article modality

2. Submissions for this format in our journal must contain a musical performance, and be related to ongoing or completed research. In this way, the performance has to be a result, means, and/or generating principle of the research 1. The work can be of an aesthetic, practical, and/or practical aesthetic nature.
3. Along with the video, a text between 1500 and 3000 words must be presented. The text must present the research related to performance, obligatorily containing the presentation of the research object, objectives, methodology, and theoretical references. Text and video(s) must be complementary and can be referenced through demonstration and/or exemplification. The videos must only contain the performance without any speech outside the music.

5. Videos must be between 30 and 50 minutes, exceptions in length must be justified by the editorial committee and will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. It can be just a video with the whole concert or separated by music, whichever is more consistent with the work proposal.

GUIDELINES FOR ARTISTIC SUBMISSION:
Obs. 1: All provisions regarding copyright, documentation and authorizations must be forwarded at the time of submission.
Obs.2: the technical and interpretative quality of the material is a guide and precedes the criteria for publication, which are as follows:
1. Unpublished works;
2. Commemorative solo and chamber works;
3. Historical videos relevant to the scope of the magazine;
4. Thematic presentations within the scope of graduate programs - master's and doctorate - such as lecture recital (lecture recital) and works composed exclusively as research material.

Video

The goal of this section is to promote artistic performance. To achieve this, we will invite applied instructors, professionals, and young talents to send their videos to be evaluated by our committee. The approved videos will be posted in our Journal once a year.
