TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA E CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA INTERVENÇÃO COMPORTAMENTAL PARA UMA PRÁTICA EFICIENTE NO AMBIENTE ESCOLAR
Resumo
The presence of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in schools has driven research in all areas of knowledge. The work presented here aimed to characterize the contributions of Behavior Analysis to efficient practices at school, considering the challenges for the school inclusion of people with disabilities. The production has definitions about Autistic Spectrum Disorder and the relevance of Applied Behavior Analysis with solid scientifically proven productions for people with atypical development. Thus, this study brings scores regarding the integration of the behavioral intervention team and the school as a condition for better results. The Therapeutic Companion (AT) is a prominent character in this study, since its definition, characterization, training and supervision are important elements for a successful implementation. With this publication, it is hoped that other studies can be expanded to investigate this topic.
