POLITICAL-EDUCATIONAL DESIGN OF THE EXPERTISING COURSE IN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND HEALTH SERVICES AT NESC / UFPB

Abstract

Objective: To demonstrate by experience a teaching and learning problem-solving process that can contribute to the transformation of the reality of management workers and, consequently, of the set of actions and health services. Methods: The methodology used is of critical nature and reports an experience of training in the post-graduation course of the Center for Studies in Public Health (NESC / UFPB). The audience is public health management professionals working in municipal and state units of Paraiba province. The work was developed taking into account the reality of each student and through listening, study and debate movements, one sought to reframe the practices and / or incorporate new practices into the network routine. Results: The results point to the daily management work as a fundamental way for learning, once it allows the confrontation between theory and practice, helping managers to understand themselves as subjects within a pedagogical, political, ideological and technical process of disputing projects that affect everyone, individually and collectively. Conclusion: The dialogical training for collective learning from managers’ reality, impacts the work process in the Brazilian Health System. DESCRIPTOS: Health management. Education. Policy.
