The Challenges of Scientific Training
Abstract
In the strictest sense, training is the process that makes it possible for an individual to acquire skills. A trained individual is “capable of” something. This is different from a qualification, which is the formal register or attribution of a specific quality or aptitude. Qualification is itself different from titling, which corresponds to the bestowal of titles, academic or not. The concept of training goes beyond these others. As while we learn over a certain period of time, these pre-supposed, defined rules and moments; training is a permanent process.Downloads
