QUALITY OF THE FILES SENT TO THE PRIMARY CARE INFORMATION SYSTEM BY THE PRIMARY CARE TEAMS OF PARAÍBA, IN 2019

Abstract

Aim: To analyze the quality of the forms sent by the municipalities of Paraíba to SISAB and their relationship with the number of teams implemented in each municipality, population size and administrative macro-region. Methodology: Cross-sectional exploratory study with statistical procedure and indirect documentation technique. The number of forms sent by the teams working in Primary Care, the number of cards validated and invalidated; and number of records invalidated due to duplication, errors in the date or inconsistencies in the CNES, of the 223 municipalities in Paraíba, from January to June 2019, was collected through SISAB. The number of teams working in Primary Care was collected by DATASUS and the population size of the municipalities through the IBGE website. The data were consolidated in the Excel program. To check the relationship between the variables and the number of files, the Chi-square test was performed using the BioEstat version 5.3 software, considering the significance level of 5%. Results: 6,584,098 files were registered, of which 15.65% were invalidated, with the reason for duplication being responsible for 95.70% of invalidations. The Chi-square test revealed a value of p <0.0001 for all variables tested. Conclusion: The analysis of the quality of the procedure files sent by the municipalities of Paraíba to SISAB in 2019, showed their inadequacy. A larger number of teams, a larger population size and the macro-region influenced this quality.
