Resumo

The paper deals with a reestablishmente of a patch of tropical forest at Cabo Branco, Paraiba State, Brazil. It is recognized that the only possible way of restoring the local plants is by elimination of the weeds which inhibit the growth if the principal trees and by reintroducing the original species of the Atlantic Tropical Forest.
