Abstract

From the verification of the intense migration flow from the northeast to the southeast of Brazil, specifically, the Sao Paulo state, this article tries to verify the northeastern workers in the work share of Sao Paulo. The thematic in question is to analyze if the northeastern workers have the same work conditions (measured inwage terms) as the Sao Paulo natives. Further more, tried to research until which point the prolonged stay in the state of Sao Paulo favors the wage rise and the reduction ofthe already existent work capacities differences. The found resultsproves the existence of different wage rates between the Sao Paulo natives and thenorthern workers in favor ofthe first but also proves that the prolonged stay in thestate of Sao Paulo reduces that difference.
