MORAL HARASSMENT AS A DOMINATION STRATEGY IN ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

Moral harassment exist since the first labor relationships have begun, but only in the last few years it has been widely discussed, mainly due to the great changes that appeared in the organizational environment. Although, labor nowadays is phiscally less tough due to the teehnologieal development, people suffer more psicologycally in virtue of the prudction system they are parto In this essay, the analysis of the moral harassment concept is done as a domination strategy, beginning with the indivdual foeus where the role of the one who does the harassment and the role of the other who is and allows to be harassed exist. As a way to fundament the analysis, informations of Banco do Brasil Voluntary Disrnissal Program, realized in 1995, were used. In the and, it will be verified that giving visibility to moral harassment acts is the only way for the individual being to surpass its suffering and transform it in a bigger cause, that is the search for justice in labor relationships.
