Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role of different social actors in the ergonomic action validation as weIl as in the negotiation' s are a construction. To endure ergonomicaction results, it is necessary that the activity point of view, introduced by the ergonomistin the cornpany, be absorbed by different rationalities and acquire legitima- tion in time. The deliberation and negotiation process between different points ofviews allows the involved rationalities, frequently contradictories, to establish anagreement to be followed. This way, the efficacy of ergonomic action is not onlyconnected to its technical capacity. It also depends on the social negotiation evolutionto prevent that the reduction of workloads could be badly appropriated by thework production in work's health detriment.
