Abstract

The objective of this theoretician-empiricist work is to present the constituent elements ofthe Quality Functional Life (QFL) as tool of socially responsible management. For in such a way, the method of case study was used as method to analyze the transports company situated in Contagem - MG. As results, the study pointed as constituent elements of the QFL: the internal dimension (credibility, respect, impartiality, pride and camaraderie) and the external dimension (housing, socialeconomic conditions and leisure/voluntary work). Such elements rnake possible to demonstrate that the narrowing the employee and employer relationship can be intensified by mean of a management tool socially responsible directed to employees as QFL observed in the studied company who started to establish goals more socialIy responsible in its organization actions with the understanding of the real conditions oflife ofits employees (inside and outside ofthe work). At last, the QFL was reported as a sophisticated application ofthe efficiency wage theory, as welI as a beeper of its image, identity and reputation next to the society, to the government and others agents related to its business.
