Abstract

This article discusses the importance of health and safety at work in industrial co-operatives. To that end, we conducted a historical survey of occupational health and safety in Brazil and in the world. We also draw a parallel between the revolutions that occurred in the sphere of work over time and the main production models. To understand the problem, interviews wereperformed with representatives of support institutions OCB and UNISOL BRASIL. The study sought to determinewhether the recovered companies participating in the industrial cooperatives,being from capitalist enterprises and have already experienced the daily lifeof a CIPA, would be more attentive to the theme of health and safety at work.This research found that despite consider the important issue this is workedincipient within cooperative organizations and support institutions.
