ADMISSION, PERMANENCE AND PROFESSIONAL PATH: THE CASE OF THE ADMINISTRATION COURSE UNDERGRADUATES OF UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DA FRONTEIRA SUL (UFFS)

Abstract

This paper analyzed data related to the access, staying and educational/professional training of academics of Management School of UFFS. Through a quantitative and qualitative approach, the research took place in three stages: First, we analyzed information from the entrants during their first registration in 2013. After, we investigated the graduates of the first class (2014) after a year of its formation and, finally, we studied the current year graduates (2015). The survey results show that while the investigation points satisfaction in the choice of their profession, the diploma is less and less enough to bargain a place in the market job consistent with their professional qualification.
