Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the approach of sociological theory to account for work as a determining activity for the understanding of social relations. In this sense, the possibilities of an approach that recovers the theory of action and the actor's capacity for agency in the construction of meanings about their own practices are raised. To advance the reflection, the first findings of an extensive field work, carried out in the José C. Paz Production Pole, located in the northwest of the Buenos Aires suburbs, between the years 2015 – 2018.
